Blizzcon Championship 2023
BlizzCon is a gaming convention organized on yearly basis by Blizzard Entertainment so as to promote its major franchises which are Warcraft, Diablo, StarCraft, Hearthstone, Heroes of the Storm & Overwatch. The Blizzcon Series features game-related declarations, previews of upcoming Blizzard Entertainment games & content, Q&A sessions & panels, and playable versions of several Blizzard games.

Pricing:
- Tickets price for the 1st Blizzcon were US $50 for admission to both days of activities.
- For the 2007 and 2008 events, prices were $100.
- In 2009, the price was raised to $125.
- For 2010, the price was raised to $150.
- For 2011, the price was raised to $175.
- For 2013 the price remained at $175.
- For 2014, the price was raised to $199
- The BlizzCon Benefit Dinner went from $500 to $750, which includes admission.
- From 2015 to 2018, the prices have remained at the 2014 level. The ticket price consists of goody bags containing items such as in-game prizes, beta keys for upcoming Blizzard games & exclusive Blizzard paraphernalia.
- BlizzCon was not held in the year 2006 or 2012

Events Rules:
BlizzCon tickets are considered as non-transferable & non-refundable. Blizzard Entertainment reserves the right not to allow admissions to anyone violating the terms of the BlizzCon Ticket Agreement.
Due to fire regulations, permission to certain panel presentations, discussions, and performances occurring during BlizzCon shall be limited to the maximum capacity of the specific hall & will be on a first-come-first-served basis.
Note- While Attending this series of BlizzCon, you’ll be entering into areas where you may be photographed, filmed, or recorded by Blizzard & other attendees.
ATTENDEE AGE RESTRICTION:
Some content at BlizzCon may not be suitable for the kids. Anyone who is not a teen that is under the age of 13 years must be accompanied by an adult. Absolutely no kids of 5 years of age or less than it will be permitted to enter in this Series.
ACCESSIBILITY:
Blizzard is devoted for providing the best possible experience for all its BlizzCon attendees. During the convention, we offer accommodations for persons with disabilities, including:
American Sign Language (shortly called ASL) interpreters for the deaf: You just need to let the official authority know in advance if you will need an interpreter by emailing BlizzCon@Blizzard.com.
The official team will make every effort for filling all reasonable requests for the other forms of accommodations. Please email BlizzCon@Blizzard.com in advance of the event, so that the team may best accommodate your request. The team will be responding to your email within a period of 72 hours.
ITEM RESTRICTIONS AND PROHIBITIONS:
Bags up to 20″ x 10″ in size can be brought into the convention. Blizzard Entertainment reserves the right to search any of the bags being brought into the Series & to refuse entry if they’re found to have prohibited items.
PROHIBITED ITEMS:
Prohibited items include:
Electronics: laptops, desktop computers, professional video or audio recording equipment, storage devices, action sports cameras, selfie sticks, drones etc.
Food: Outside food & beverages (except water in plastic bottles), Alcohol, glass bottles, cans etc.
Weapons: firearms, flammable liquids or aerosol products, fireworks, knives, daggers, clubs, swords, maces, other crushing or edged weapons, air guns etc.
Miscellaneous: large bags (exceeding 20” x 10”), large containers, strollers, hoverboards, skateboards, scooters (except for persons with disabilities), pets (except service animals).
Any attendee found to have violated the rules or having any mentioned prohibited items from the above list may be removed from BlizzCon.
Tablets (such as iPads) & video cameras are allowed to use in the BlizzCon exhibit halls. However, you are not allowed to record or stream gameplay from any of the computer or projection screens at Blizzcon (with the exception of tournament gameplay), & recording or streaming the Friday evening contests including the BlizzCon Costume & Talent Contest, & the BlizzCon closing ceremony on a Saturday evening is strictly not allowed.
