UCAT ANZ Registration 2025 Exam Dates Test Center Result. The UMAT Consortium universities in Australia and New Zealand are embarking on an appealing new corroboration with similar universities in the UK. From 2025 Interested Applicants in Studying medicine, Dentistry and some other clinical science Courses in Australia and New Zealand will sit the UCAT ANZ (stands for University Clinical Aptitude Test Australia and New Zealand) as part of their admissions Procedure.Â

This is exciting news! UCAT is a test that has been around since 2006, & at NIE we are very familiar with the sections & structure of this test. For our current NIE candidates who are holders of the UMAT preparation books, please do not panic. UCAT ANZ Entry Registration details are also here.
From the notification that has been declared at this stage by UCAT Officials, we know that the sections of the UCAT are similar to UMAT in terms of what they are trying to assess the applicants on. Hence, a lot of strategic & question-approaches notifications from the UMAT Books are still applicable to your UCAT preparation.
The structure of the UCAT questions is various in some instances, also instead of the Understanding People UMAT Construct a somewhat different section known as ‘Situational Judgement’ has been added to the exam. Eligibility Criteria:
- UCAT is available to any applicant whose educational level at the time of sitting the test in their final year of higher or secondary schooling.
- Applicants whose current educational level is Australian Year 11 or lower are NOT eligible to take UC

Applicants will receive their results immediately at the end of their exam, with a score between 300-900 for all test sections, except for Situational Judgement (scored in a band format between 1 – 4, 1 being the highest).
