(i) A United States (US) Citizen.

(ii) A legal permanent resident of the United States.

(iii) You must have a current employment authorization card (aka EAD card).

How to apply for America Got Talent 2025?

Step 1: Register Online

The first step is to register for your city & pick the date & day of your audition. It is not compulsory to register, but it does allow the official team of the show to keep the applicants up to date on important updates and other information, like where to park, venue details, etc. The participants get up to 90 seconds so as to perform so you should start preparing for your performance from the very beginning.

Step 2: Arrive at the Venue

On arriving at the Audition Venue, you will have to look for a member of our staff who will provide you 2 important items which are wristband & an audition number. That number will decide the order that you’ve auditioned. It is very important you don’t lose any of those 2 items (wristband or Audition number) otherwise you will be sent all the way back to the end of the line again so as to get a new audition number.

Step 3: Check-In

The next step is the check-in-desk. Even if you had registered online, you’ll require to check in.  It is here you will have to submit your paperwork & show your ID. Everyone in your actions will have to fill out the paperwork, & it is a lot better to download it right now by simply going on to the official site, read it over carefully, & fill it out at home according to your convenience, than outside on the street. Even better, sign it at home before you come to given auditions.

If you’re a minor & you’re coming without your parents/guardians, then you need to fill out a special form. If a minor is coming with you to support you & is NOT auditioning, you will still have to fill out this special form or else he/she (the minor) will not be allowed inside. Please make sure that the special form is filled out completely.

Step 4: Show Us Your Talent

After submitting your paperwork & showing your ID to the official desk team at their check-in desk, you will be headed to their holding/rehearsal room. It is in the holding room where you’ll wait until an audition room opens up. When it’s your turn, the team members will call your audition number. Remember to keep that audition number with you at all times.
