The First Season: London to Singapore
In the first series of The Amazing Race, the race began in London and concluded in Singapore. The competitors were given an amount of money equivalent to the price of a one-way plane ticket to the final destination. However, they were not allowed to fly and had to travel by land or sea. The funds provided could be used to cover the cost of any travel, including food and accommodation, but teams could also earn more money along the way.
The Rules of the Game:
At the start of the race, the competitors were not permitted to use mobile electronic devices or credit cards. Instead, they were given a world map, a GPS device to track their progress and for safety, as well as to find checkpoints, and a travel guide with local job adverts, in addition to the money.

On the date of 28 September 2022, the BBC announced that the third series of Race Across the World, due to enter production later that same year, would be set entirely in Canada with a route from Vancouver, British Columbia to St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador. The show would also move from BBC Two to BBC One.
In previous years, the show started on the date of March 22, 2023. So expected the show will be started in the same month. All participants need to wait for the official word from the makers of the show.
